In our previous article, we informed about some key specifications and designs for the upcoming Xiaomi flagships called the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. Now, as the launch date comes closer, the company itself came forward and informed about its upcoming flagship smartphones.
Recently, Xiaomi informed everyone that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 will feature a huge Vapor Chamber (VC) cooling system for keeping the thermals of the device under control even after extensive usage. The company also posted some images for comparison of their take on the VC cooling versus the other devices, and you can see for yourself that the chamber present on the Mi 10 is much larger than an average smartphone with this VC cooling feature.
The Chinese tech giant has not only worked on the VC cooling system, but they have also used Graphite on every significant layer present on the smartphone. Graphite, as we know, is an excellent safeguard from heat because of its excellent heat dissipation capabilities.
According to Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, other than Graphite, the company has also used five temperature monitoring sensors on the Mi 10 for effective temperature measurement. Each sensor will be installed near five important parts of the device i.e. Battery, Camera, CPU, Connector, and Communications chip. The company claims that because of this huge cooling mechanism on the Mi 10, the device will be able to adjust its temperature between 1 to 5 degrees!
It is great to see such dedication and effort done on the part of Xiaomi as the upcoming Mi 10 needs a significant cooling system because of its 5G capabilities, latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 12 gigs and 16 gigs of RAM, and most importantly for that rumored 108 Megapixel resolution camera setup as the device will tend to heat up when you use that huge resolution camera extensively for photos and high-quality videos.
