We all know that Xiaomi has been working on its next-gen flagship smartphone series- Mi 10 series, which includes Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Now, as per the recent report, Xiaomi is all set to make the Mi 10 series official by sending out invites to the media for a launch event this month.
The business is hosting an event on 23rd February in Barcelona, Spain, simply ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2020– the world’s most significant occasion for the telecom sector.
The invites shared by the company appeared online on different social media. The invites clearly showcase the number “10”, which actually hinting the launch event of upcoming Mi 10 series, and the graphics around the number “10” are related to the camera lens. As per the lens pattern, it seems like a Mi 10 series could have a highlighted optical zoom capabilities.
From the previous reports, Both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro is expected to be geared with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, and the Xiaomi also claimed to be the one of the first company to launch a smartphone device with Snapdragon 865.
Moreover, the company recently confirmed that the Mi 10 series will be equipped with LPDDR5 RAM by Micron, which will provide 50-percent more faster data speed rate and 20-percent more power-efficient.
If talking about specs as per the rumors and leak, the Mi 10 will have 6.5-inches AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a quad-camera setup that will have Sony’s IMX686 image sensor, 4,500 mAH battery with 40W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
On the other hand, Mi 10 Pro is rumored to have the same display as the base variant, a Samsung’s 108MP primary camera, 16GB RAM + 512 internal storage, 66W fast charging, and will support wireless charging also.
The prices of both devices are still not clear. To know the confirmed specs and the price, we will have to wait for a few for the week for the launch event, and we also expect that in the coming days, more information will be surfaced online ahead of the launch.
