Xiaomi accidentally rolled out new MIUI 11 for a handful of devices

Earlier this year Xiaomi revealed that it has begun developing the MIUI 11 which will have features like a system-wide dark mode ultra power saving mode, and more although these features have already made their way into MIUI 10. Now, Xiaomi accidentally rolled out MIUI 11 for a handful of devices, including the Redmi K20 Pro, Mi Mix 2S, and Mi 6, giving us an early look at the next custom skin.

According to the report, the MIUI 11 will come with new Iconography in the below images as promised. The icons are colorful; however, there is no consistency in size or shape, unlike the stock Android 10.

It seems that Xaiomi has updated the design as well. The aim for MIUI 11 is “Empowering the productive,” and a lot of white space and big, bold text for the design. Among the screenshots displays the new design in more system apps.

The MIUI 11 will come with new cross-device file sharing implementation, which was revealed recently in collaboration between Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo. The new MIUI Always-on Display feature includes altering the text color automatically over time, adding a Kaleidoscope-style which has five various patterns that turn each time user turn the screen on, an outer space design that alters the light depending upon the sunrise/sunset schedule at user’s area, and more custom options.

It appears that MIUI 11 for Xiaomi devices is an early pre-release build, so there’s a possibility that the official release might come with other new features. We are likewise expecting an Ad Switch in the latest MIUI, as Xiaomi has promised.
