Xbox Series X, Series S, Price, and Release date revealed!

After months of leaked specs and information, Microsoft has finally announced the price and launch date of its Xbox Series X and Series S. The news comes from a Facebook post by the official Xbox India page with confirmation from Microsoft India itself. So without further ado, let’s talk about the Xbox Series X and Xbox series S specifications.

First, let’s start with Xbox Series X. It comes with a Custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU clocked at 3.8GHz (3.6GHz with SMT) coupled with Custom AMD RDNA 2 GPU 52 CUs clocked at 1.825 GHz. It offers 16GB of GDDR6 RAM coupled with 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVME SSD storage. As for external storage, it comes with a 1TB expansion card and support for USB HDD. Moreover, it provides you a 4K resolution at 60fps, up to 120fps.

Second, let’s talk about the Xbox Series S. It comes with a Custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU clocked at 3.6GHz (3.4GHz with SMT) coupled with Custom AMD RDNA 2 GPU 20 CUs clocked at 1.565GHz. It offers 10GB of GDDR6 RAM coupled with 512GB of PCIe Gen 4 NVME SSD storage. As for external storage, it also comes with a 1TB expansion card and support for USB HDD. In terms of display, it provides you a 1440p Quad HD resolution at 60fps, up to 120fps.

Price and Availability

The Xbox Series X costs around Rs. 49,990 in India, while the Xbox Series S costs around Rs. 34,990. Both consoles will launch on November 10, and the pre-orders will start from September 22, a similar date for all regions.

As for other regions, it costs $499 (about Rs. 36,600) in the US, £449 (about Rs. 42,800) in the UK, CA$599 (about Rs. 33,400) in Canada, AU$749 (about Rs. 40,000) in Australia, and NZ$799 (about Rs. 39,200) in New Zealand. The Indian price got revealed along with the global price for Xbox Series S and Series X.
