Recently a new leak from Evan Blass exposes that Microsoft will not only have dual-screen devices but will also run on a new version of OS known as Windows 10X. There are also rumors that the company will launch the dual-screen device at October 2 Surface event.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
According to The Verge, the dual-screen Surface product codenamed Centaurus will run on Windows 10X which is also referred to as to a Windows Lite; however, there is no confirmation of the actual name of the version although as per Blass’s track record the leak should be somehow correct.
Most of the users won’t be able to check Blass’s tweet because the account is not set public. The tweet doesn’t contain any images of the OS, but it states that Windows X is developed for folding and dual-screen devices, and the OS may run the apps in containers which means it may use virtualization to run the apps as we can see in Windows Virtual Desktop.
Microsoft’s Surface event will start tomorrow at 10 am ET. To get the latest updates follow us.
