WhatsApp could reveal a Permanent Mute chat option soon!

As we know, WhatsApp has gained a lot of useful features in this lockdown period that has benefited a lot of users. Convenient features like animated stickers, QR contacts sharing, and up to 8 people in group video calls have uplifted the app quite a lot. Nonetheless, according to a recent report from a reliable tipster, the company has started acting on a new feature.

The information comes from WABetaInfo, which says that WhatsApp is presently working on a new “Always Mute” feature that will allow you to permanently mute those annoying group chats. Currently, the app features only three options, which are eight hoursone week, and one year. However, an APK teardown of the latest WhatsApp beta reveals that the final option one year could soon get replaced with Always.

This feature from WhatsApp will get enough attention because many of us personally hate those flooded messages from group chats. Also, apart from this new feature, WhatsApp is working on Linked Devices UI, where you will be able to keep track of all your devices. It includes your browser, mobile, desktop, or even your iPad you have used for logging in.

Still, all these useful features are currently in development and not available in the stable and beta version of WhatsApp. We will let you know once WhatsApp gets rolled out any of these features. So, stay tuned for more updates.
