Vivo released a NEX 3 teaser revealing the design of the phone

Recently the Chinese manufacturer Vivo released a teaser video featuring Vivo Nex 3. The company reveals the design of the smartphone through the video.

The video shows the curviness of the NEX 3’s display dubbed as Waterfall display. The side bezels of the phone are nearly non-existent. Reports reveal that the phone might provide a screen area of 99.6 percent. The TENAA listing of the phone has a 6.89-inch screen with a notch-less design with a full HD AMOLED display of 1080 x 2256 pixels and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo NEX 3 has a buttonless design. Pressure-sensitive virtual buttons are offered instead of the physical buttons for power and volume. Moreover, an extra power button added with a wider pop-up camera that contains two selfies snappers at the top. The company also reported that NEX 3 5G has a 3.5mm audio jack. The dual selfie snapper could feature a 16-megapixel lens.

On September 7 GSMArena reported that Nex 3 has a new design of custom camera function. Li Xiang, the company’s general product manager that the device would have a new customizable Camera UI App. Li revealed this on his Weibo account and shared the screenshots of the camera UI.

The device features a round-shaped module with three lenses at the rear side of the phone. It has a 64-megapixel primary camera lens and a pair of 13-megapixel sensors. Vivo NEX 3 5G is powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset of a 2.96Ghz octa-core processor with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. However, the device may not have a microSD card slot.

The phone has a battery of 4,500 mAh and accompanied by a 44W FlashCharge technology. The phone will be releasing in 4G and 5G variants in China. However, there are no details about the price of the smartphone. On September 16 the phone will officially release.
