Vivo iQOO Neo 3 5G launched with a 144Hz display, and much more!


After a successful debut of the iQOO 3 5G smartphone, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has launched yet another 5G flagship smartphone in China. The smartphone is named as the iQOO Neo 3 and is a successor to the last year’s iQOO 3 smartphone. The brand-new flagship smartphone comes with a 144Hz display up front, which is impressive.

So, without further ado, let’s hop on the specifications of the newly launched 5G flagship smartphone, the iQOO Neo 3.

The iQOO Neo 3 5G comes with a punch-hole display on the front and a rectangular camera housing module on the rear. Instead of the usual left side placement, iQOO has this time placed the front camera setup on the top-right corner of the smartphone. The rear panel of the smartphone also features branding of the iQOO.

The display of the iQOO Neo 3 5G is a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The display panel features an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a PPI of 402. Due to the higher refresh rate, iQOO has replaced the 60Hz AMOLED panel with the LCD panel. The 144Hz LCD panel also offers support for HDR 10. We get the side-mounted fingerprint sensor on this one.

As for the camera, the iQOO Neo 3 5G comes with a triple camera setup on the rear housed inside a rectangular module, which comes with a primary 48-megapixel wide PDAF lens with the f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel selfie-snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

Talking about the internals, the iQOO Neo 3 5G comes with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The battery on this one is a 4,500mAh battery with support for Vivo’s 44W Super Flash-Charge charging support. According to the company, it can juice up your smartphone from 0% to 100% in just 58 minutes.

The smartphone also features a new 11-tier cooling system, which iQOO claims can cool down the internal temperature of the smartphone by up to 10 degrees. The iQOO Neo 3 5G will run on Android 10 out of the box.

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage – 2,698 yuan (around Rs. 29,000)
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage  2,998 yuan (around Rs. 32,250)
  • 12GB RAM + 128GB storage – 3,298 yuan (around Rs. 35,500)
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – 3,398 yuan (around Rs. 36,500)

Color Variants available are Dark Night and Sky Blue.
