Sony PlayStation 5 Prices Revealed, Starts at $399!

The Japanese giant Sony has finally revealed its much-awaited PlayStation 5 console pricing information at its latest PS5 Showcase event today. There were plenty of rumors regarding the pricing of the Playstation 5, and they have appeared to be correct. So, without further ado, let’s talk about the variants and pricing of the PlayStation 5.

The PlayStation 5 comes in two variants: the Standard edition and the Digital Edition. First, let’s start with the Standard Edition. It currently comes priced at $499 (36,727.05 Indian Rupee). Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Digital Edition comes with a slightly more affordable price at $399 (29,364.92 Indian Rupee). Moreover, the significant difference between the standard and digital variant of the PlayStation 5 is the Disc Reader. The digital edition comes with all-powerful standard edition features except for the disc reader.

As for the availability, the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will roll out on November 12 (one day before the launch of Xbox Series X|S) in South Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Australia, Japan, Canada, and the US. Nonetheless, the remaining countries will be able to buy the PlayStation 5 on November 19.

Apart from the pricing information of the PlayStation 5, Sony also announced how much the various accessories for the upcoming console would cost. The accessories include Sony’s new DualSense controller ($69.99), the charging station ($29.99), the Pulse 3D wireless headset ($99.99), PlayStation 5’s media remote ($29.99), and HD Camera ($59.99).
