Sandisk announced an 8TB portable SSD at CES 2020!

As we all know that CES 2020 is the place where companies show their best products that are mostly prototypes or that aren’t quite available yet. Sandisk always comes with some cool prototypes like that 4 TB Flash drive it showed last year.

So, Sandisk is back with another awesome prototype which is an 8 TB portable SSD that transmits data with 20 Gbps speed over USB. The SSD is quite handy and compact in size. You can keep it comfortably in your pocket and transfer data really quickly. As it’s a prototype, Sandisk hasn’t given a date when we will be able to buy this Flash Drive as they are still working on it.

Speaking of real products, Sandisk is launching the all-new 1 TB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C flash drive. The name may sound a little bit complicated but it’s quite impressive. With stunning storage of 1 TB capacity and both USB Type-C and Type-A connectors so you will be able to use them with both PCs and phones. The speed is not going to be very fast as it’s a USB 3.1 Gen 1 but it would be pretty decent for basic uses.

The pricing for this Drive Lux USB 1 TB is placed at $249.99 and for the 32 GB variant, the price starts at $10.99. If you are interested in these variants you can pre-order it now.

Sandisk- P50 Game Drive SSD

There are also some new devices for gamers by Western Digital (WD) black brand. P50 Game Drive SSD is the first game drive with USB speeds up to 20 Gbps by this industry. The pricing of for 2 TB drive is $499.99 but it’s not available now. For now, you can buy 500 GB and 1 TB variants which are currently priced at $179.99 and $249.99 respectively.

There are two new HDD drives for Xbox One gamers, the P10 Game Drive, and the D10 Game Drive. The former variant has up to 5 TB capacity which is currently priced at $139.99. The bigger variant which is a 12 TB HDD is currently priced at $299.99. You can buy both these HDDs right now.
