Head of Samsung’s Framework R&D group, Hyesoon Jeong, mentioned, “This brand-new form factor that we’re now exploring will not only easily fit in your pocket, but it also changes the way you use your phone. ” She also mentioned that the idea behind this to make it ‘more compact’ but there was mention when the company would make this available.
The video shared shows that phone folds vertically in half, and the UI also adapts in accordance with the transition. However, the company didn’t provide any details about the form factor. Motorola is also going to unveil its foldable phone Motorola Razr on November 13, which also has a similar style of fold.
