Samsung launched its New Blazingly Fast SSDs in India starting at Rs 9,999

The South Korean giant Samsung has launched its new super-fast SSD lineup in India. This lineup consists of the Portable SSD T7 and the 870 QVO internal SSD. Both SSDs come with amazing features like rapid speed and massive storage capacity. Moreover, they also arrive with a 3-year warranty. So, without further ado, let’s talk about the key features of both storage devices.

Portable SSD T7 

The Portable SSD T7 comes in a palm-sized shape and provides you a powerful performance. Moreover, it can reach a maximum read and write speed of 1,050MB/s and 1,000MB/s, respectively. In other words, it’s twice as fast in comparison to its predecessor, the Portable SSD T5.

It comes with shock resistance technology and password protection (AES 256-bit hardware encryption) to provide you better security. Moreover, to protect the user data from thermal damage, Samsung has utilized the DTG (Dynamic Thermal Guard) and EPCM (Encapsulated Phase Change Material).

The Portable SSD T7 comes in three storage capacities – 500GB1TB, and 2TB. These are currently priced at:

  • 500GB SSD – Rs. 9,999
  • 1TB SSD – Rs. 17,999
  • 2TB SSD – Rs. 29,999

Moreover, it will be up for sale starting on Monday, July 20th.

Colors available – Metallic Red, Indigo Blue, and Titan Gray.

870 QVO Internal SSD

The 870 QVO internal SSD is a second-generation quad-level cell (QLC) flash drive that sets a new standard for high-capacity consumer storage. According to the company, it is the world’s largest client SSD to offer capacities of up to 8TB. Moreover, it can reach a subsequent read and write speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 530 MB/s, respectively. 

It comes rigged with a 9x layer V-NAND characteristics and a purified new controller with an enhanced ECC algorithm. The internal SSD comes in 1TB2TB4TB and 8TB options priced at:

  • 1TB – Rs. 9,999 
  • 2TB – Rs. 19,999
  • 4TB – Rs. 39,999
  • 8TB – Rs. 74,999

Moreover, it will be up for sale starting on Monday, July 20th.
