Samsung is going to unveil its NEON AI at CES 2020

NEON Artificial Intelligence

Recently STAR (Samsung Technology & Advanced Research) Labs teased a product named NEON. The company will be unveiling details about the product at CES 2020. The Academy Award-winning director Shekhar Kapur mentioned this in his tweet last week. Kapur filled the blanks of STAR Labs head Pranav Mistry tweets, which he has been tweeting since December 16. Here is what Pranav tweeted:

From few days official tweeter handle of NEON has been tweeting images with a tagline “Have you evert an ‘Artificial’?” The font used in the images is somewhat similar to Humans TV series. It appears the product will be some mysterious artificial intelligence (AI) project.

However, the project’s own site doesn’t divulge anything except showing tagline and logo over a wave of swirling colors.

According to the teaser by Samsung, the NEON will be a “Human-level AI” that may depend on the 5G network. The goal of developing the AI is to offer humans a special experience with their electronic assistant. Alexa and Siri most likely be fretted about it, if it’s anywhere near as excellent as the team claims.
