Samsung Galaxy Z Flip to come with rubber bumpers on the side

-

We are just a few days ahead of Samsung Unpacked, the event in which Samsung will unveil its next flagship lineup i.e. Galaxy S20 and also its next-gen foldable smartphone called Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. This new foldable smartphone by the Korean Smartphone manufacturer is the successor to the original Samsung Galaxy Fold.

Well speaking of updates, a Twitter user by the name of PhoneDesigner has spotted that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip by Samsung will have rubber bumpers on the sides to minimize the intensity when you slam your phone shut or fold the display. These rubber bumpers will absorb the intensity to an extent that the device’s display will not be damaged when shutting the phone.

With the disclosure of this attribute, we can conclude that this time Samsung does not want to take any chances with the safety of its foldable display and it is necessary as they don’t want any controversies like the last-gen Galaxy Fold. After the original Fold, one thing was clear that foldable displays are still in their infancy and they need some time to be familiar in this market.

Talking about the configurations, Galaxy Z Flip expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with 12 Megapixel dual cameras on the back and a 10 Megapixel front camera sensor. The next-gen foldable smartphone by Samsung will be flaunting a 6.7-inch Infinity AMOLED display with a hole-punch in the center and as for the secondary screen, there is a 1.06-inches secondary display that acts as your lock screen.
