The rumors about the upcoming Samsung smartphone named Galaxy M51 have surfaced online from the past few months. Today, the South Korean giant finally confirmed that its India launch is imminent by setting up a dedicated microsite on Amazon for Galaxy M51. The microsite reveals the first look of the device along with some key features.
The teaser poster on the microsite includes a tagline ‘Meanest Monster Ever’ with no mentioned launch date. You will have to hit the ‘Notify Me’ to get the updates. The teaser poster only shows the smartphone’s front that’s also not entirely but will have a punch-hole design display at the top center.
As Amazon microsite cannot offer more information, Beebom dug into the source code and spotted an image that reveals some of its key specs. Moreover, Galaxy M51 has also been surfaced on Google Play console, and Mysmartprice has dug into that to confirm the chipset.
The Galaxy M51 will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution and 420ppi pixel density as per the image images. The display will boast a 60Hz refresh rate.
Google Play Console listing confirms that the Snapdragon 730 chipset will power the device under the hood.
In terms of optics, the Amazon screenshot reveals that the Galaxy M51 will have a 64MP quad-camera setup, including a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens as per rumors. There will be a 32MP selfie camera up front with supported 4K shooting.
The phone will pack a massive 7,000mAh battery and will support 25W fast charging via USB Type-C charging port.
Previously Sudhanshu on Twitter shared some official press render of the Galaxy M31, which look similar to the official teaser on the microsite. The renders will also give you an idea of the overall design.
There is no information on the price and availability but will update you soon as more details surface online.
