Samsung Galaxy M01 Core Launched in India for Rs. 5,499


The South Korean giant Samsung has revealed its budget smartphone, the Galaxy M01 Core in India, today. Just like the Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M01s, the Galaxy M01 Core also comes under Rs. 10,000 price bracket. So, without further ado, let’s talk about the specifications of this smartphone.

The Director Mobile Business of Samsung India Aditya Babbar said, 

“Galaxy M01 Core reiterates Samsung’s commitment to making technology accessible, affordable, and available to consumers across Bharat. Galaxy M01 Core has been designed to deliver value for money with best-in-class performance and stylish proposition targeting users seeking best performance, experience, and price.” 

First, let’s talk about the display and the camera. The Galaxy M01 Core comes with a 5.3-inch HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It features the front-facing camera in the top bezel, unlike the Galaxy M01 and the Galaxy M01s.

Second, let’s talk about the camera and internals. The Galaxy M01 Core comes with a single primary 8MP shooter along with an LED flash. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is a 5MP sensor. Apart from that, Samsung has placed a 3000mAh battery inside this smartphone. According to the company, it promises a battery life of up to 11 hours.

Moreover, the Galaxy M01 Core comes with MediaTek’s MT6739 processor, which was first launched in the fourth quarter of 2017It comes with 1GB/2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of storage, which can be expanded via using a microSD card. Moreover, the Galaxy M01 Core runs on the Android 10 Go edition, which is optimized to ensure smooth and convenient user experience.
