According to the reports, Samsung is currently working on a lite version of the Galaxy Fold. As of now, the lite version has given the name Galaxy Fold Lite.
All this information was provided by a tech journalist and renowned tipster, called Max Weinbach, of XDA developers. Apart from that, he also revealed the specifications of the Galaxy Fold Lite on his twitter account. According to Weinbach, Samsung might ship the foldable smartphone with older hardware to keep the price low.
First, let’s talk about the design of the Galaxy Fold Lite. The foldable smartphone will arrive with a clamshell form-factor design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip. The body of this one will be made up of glass and aluminum, just like the other premium smartphones. Moreover, it will arrive in two color options – Mirror Black and Mirror Purple.
Second, let’s talk about the display. The Galaxy Fold Lite comes with a flexible display with no UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass). Henceforth, resulting in a screen covered in plastic. Not only that, but the external display will also be smaller and similar to the Galaxy Z Flip.
