Recently, Samsung has updated its A-series with the launch of both the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 in Vietnam. Both of these phones flaunt an infinity display with a hole-punch on the front and an in-display fingerprint reader. Both of these devices sport a quad-camera setup and gradient finish on the back.
Samsung Galaxy A51 configurations
The lite iteration of today’s launch was the Galaxy A51. Talking about the display, A51 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display in a 20:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1080×4200. Under the hood, the Galaxy A51 is running Exynos 9611 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. These configurations are paired up with the latest Android 10 with Samsung’s very own One UI 2.0 on the top.
Talking about the camera, Galaxy A51 has 48 Megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 12 Megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens for Ultra-wide angle shots, a 5 Megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens for depth, and another 5 Megapixel with an f/2.2 lens for close-up macro shots. The front camera on the Galaxy A51 will be a 32 Megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens. All of these configurations are backed up by a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging through a Type C port.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 will be having 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM with an internal storage of 64GB and 128GB variant, and there is also support for external storage like micro sd up to 512GB. The A51 is priced at VND 7,990,000 ($346 approx)(Rs 24,500 approx) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy A71 Configurations
The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a bigger 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with the same 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The significant difference between the A51 and the A71 is in the camera department. The Galaxy A71 sports a 64 Megapixel Primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 12 MegaPixel with an f/2.2 lens for Ultra-wide angle shots, a 5 Megapixel with f/2.2 lens for depth, and another 5 Megapixel with an f/2.4 lens for close-up macro shots. While the front camera is a 32 Megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.2 lens.
The A71 is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, and the mobile variants are similar to the Galaxy A51, where the base model is of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and highest being the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage. The UI experience on both the A51 and A71 will be similar as both runs the same One UI 2.0 with the Android version 10 or Q.
The battery capacity on the Samsung Galaxy A71 is 4,500 mAh bundled with a faster 25W fast charging through its Type C port. The price of Galaxy A71 has not been disclosed yet by Samsung, but we will be updated about the pricing in a few days.
