
Today, Samsung, the South Korean company, launched Galaxy Tab Active3 rugged tablet aimed at business users. This new tab is the follow up of the three years old Galaxy TAb Active2. The Galaxy Tab Active3 tablet comes with MIL-STD-810H standard, shockproof abilities, and can withstand drops up to 1.5 meters with the protective cover.

The Galaxy Tab Active3 features an 8-inch WUXGA TFT LCD display with pixel resolution up to 1920 x 1200.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Samsung Exynos 9810 octa-core processor paired with up to 4GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and expandable memory up to 1TB via microSD card.
In terms of optics, the rugged tablet has a rear 13MP primary sensor along with a LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera upfront.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 6 with MIMO for faster Wi-Fi.
The tablet packs a 5,050mAh replaceable battery. The tablet can be charged via USB 3.1 and POGO pins. The Galaxy Tab Active3 also supports “No Battery Mode” if connected to a dedicated power source.
As we know that the Galaxy Tab Active3 is especially aimed at the users to use the tablet in extreme outdoor conditions, the company added features like Touch Sensitivity, which allow touch while wearing gloves. The company also added IP68 certification for both the tablet and S Pen.
The Galaxy Tab Active3 runs on One UI based on Android 10 out of the box.

Price and Availability
The Galaxy Tab Active3 will be available in Europe and Asia’s selected markets starting today and will be available to other regions later on.
The company is yet to announce the price of the rugged tablet.
