Xiaomi is going to announce the Redmi Note 9 series in India on 12 March. The Redmi Note 9 series could include two smartphones- The Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 pro. The rival company Realme today launched the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro and its time for the Redmi Note 9 series to compete for the market place. So we have seen the concept render of the Redmi Note 9 Pro version, and now as per the report, RAM, storage, and color option of the upcoming device leaked online ahead of the launch.
According to the source, Redmi Note 9 Pro will have two variants in India- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. But 6GB RAM is common nowadays, and we expect an 8GB RAM variant and expandable storage support as well, as per the previous Redmi Note 8 series.
In terms of color options, the source claims that the upcoming smartphone will have three color options- Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black.
Moreover, recently, Redmi Note 9 Pro was spotted on Geekbench listings, where it revealed that an octa-core Qualcomm processor will power the upcoming smartphone with a clock speed at 1.8GHz, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 720G processor. The processor is paired with 6GB RAM (base variant). The listing shows Android 10, which suggests it will run on MIUI 11 out of the box.
The concept render of the Redmi Note 9 Pro also suggest a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. As per the source, the phone will have a curved Gorilla Glass back, boost gaming performance, and fast charging.
