So far, everyone is confused about the processor that will sport the upcoming Redmi K30, the company’s first 5G smartphone. Will it be the MediaTek or Qualcomm to power the phone. However, today, it is officially confirmed that the Redmi K30 will be geared up by a Qualcomm processor.
The confirmation post is actually shared by Redmi official Weibo account and further Lu Weibing, Redmi General Manager, repost it on Weibo.
The original post by the official Redmi account includes a statement that the Redmi K30 will be the first phone to equip a new generation 5G processor, which will be strong in all aspects and will be more than a benchmark.
After this, Lu Weibing shared the same post with a caption, “Looking forward to the latest Qualcomm processors” which finally confirms that a Qualcomm processor will power the Redmi K30.
According to rumors, the processor is expected to be the SM7250 with 5G dual-mode (SA/NSA).
As per the original post by Redmi official account on Weibo, the upcoming phone will be powered by a new generation 5G processor, which reminds me of the forthcoming announcement of a new processor today at the Snapdragon Tech Summit in Hawaii at 7 PM GMT (4 December, 12:30 AM IST).
Moreover, the Redmi official account again shared a post on Weibo regarding the network capabilities of the Redmi K30.
According to the post, the company has improved its network capabilities for the Redmi K30. A whole set of 12 antennas is fitted in the upcoming device, which is 2.4 times the number of antennas for 4G smartphones. To implement this, the company uses a new structural design and RF, which will result in stronger and more stable 5G signals.
After all this, we can assume that the upcoming phone is going to be a 5G pioneer, which the company also claimed.
So now, let’s wait for the launch event in China on 10 December at 2 PM.
