Today, Xiaomi has launched one new smartphone in its Redmi K30 lineup. The smartphone is Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition and is the first smartphone to be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 768G chipset.

Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition features and specs
The newly launched Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition design remains the same as the Redmi K30 5G launched in 2019. The significant change in this new Redmi device is the latest chipset, Snapdragon 768G.
The Snapdragon 768G is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 765G launched last year. It comes with more enhancements in clock speed and GPU performance if compared with its predecessor. The processor is built on a 7nm EUV procedure and is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In front design, Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition includes a 6.67 inch FHD+ LCD with a 120Hz screen and double punch-hole selfie camera on the front with an element ratio of 20:9.
The front camera includes a 20MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor placed at the top-right of the punch hole. The rear quad-camera module includes a 64MP primary camera sensor, followed by an 8MP Ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP Macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
In terms of battery, the phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 30W Fast-Charging via USB Type-C. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP blaster, Dual 5G support, NFC, Bluetooth, and more.
Price and Availability
The Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition is priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$282) (Rs. 21,384 approx).
Apart from the color available in K30 5G, the Racing Edition includes a new color Mint Ice Blue.
The phone is now up for pre-order in China and will go on sale on 14 May in China.
