From the last couple of weeks, the Redmi K30 5G is the most discussed smartphone in the mobile market. From leaks and rumors, the company now started to disclose quite many key specs of the upcoming smartphone. So far, the company confirmed the processor, screen size, and battery of the phone. And now it is officially confirmed that there will be a 4G version of the Redmi K30.
Lu Weibing, Vice President of Xiaomi Group, General Manager of Redmi Brand, shared a post on Weibo where he stated,
The 5G network has just been rolled out. In addition, the current 5G data charges of operators are still relatively high.If you feel that the package is too expensive, do not worry, #Redmi # K30 also has a 4G network version can be selected
This is quite an impressive move by the company to launch a Redmi K30 4G version so that everybody can afford it.
However, ahead of the confirmation, we already had the leaked information about the Redmi K30 4G version.
Expected Specs of Redmi K30 4G
According to the previously leaked report, the Redmi K30 4G is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 730G paired with 6GB RAM+64GB storage. The 4G version will have a 6.6-inch dual punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The rear camera setup will have 64MP + 8MP telephoto lens + 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP. In the front, there will be 20MP + 2MP dept sensor.
Other than this, the Redmi K30 4G will carry a 4500mAh battery with a 27W fast flash charge support. Also, the phone will run on MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
The starting price of the phone is expected to be 1999 Yuan ($284 approx).
As the Redmi Redmi K30 5G, the 4G version is expected to launch on 10 December.
