Earlier Microsoft announced that they are getting ready to release Windows 10 November 2019 Update, and now the company updated the Processor requirements for Windows 10 version 1909. However, the company also updated the requirements for 1903.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
On the Intel side of things, the company included all the 10th Generation processors, which are Core i3, i5, i7, and i9-10XX. It also supports Intel Xeon E-22xx, Intel Atom (J4xxx/J5xxx, and N4xxx/N5xxx), Celeron, and Pentium Processors.
For AMD, Windows 10 1909 supports a list of processors, including 7th Generation Processors (A-Series Ax-9xxx & E-Series Ex-9xxx & FX-9xxx), Athlon 2xx processors, Ryzen 3/5/7 3xxx. It also includes Opteron and EPYC 7xxx processors, which are supported on Windows 10 Pro for Workstations and Windows 10 Enterprise only.
However, it also listed the Qualcomm CPUs. As per Neowin, version 1903 required the Snapdragon 850, but it is replaced by Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 8cx. It could be a misprint as 855 is not for PCs, it’s only supported for smartphones. We will let you guys know if it updates.
