Poco X3 NFC officially launched with SD 732G chipset, 120Hz display and more


Poco launched the Poco X3 NFC today, the successor to the Poco X2, launched in India earlier as the Redmi K30 4G. Poco X3 is the world’s first phone powered by Snapdragon 732G chipset and Poco’s original smartphone, not a rebranded one.

So without taking time in introduction, let us see what the new smartphone from Poco has to offer and in what price segment.


The front of the phone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 12Hz refresh rate and 240Hz of the touch sampling rate. You can also switch the refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz to conserve battery. The display a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has an IP53 certification, and both the front and rear feature Gorilla Glass panels.

On the back, the phone has a bold vertical stripe at the center from top to bottom, along with an iridescent company logo. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that also works as a power button.

The latest announced Snapdragon 732G chipset powers the device in terms of the internals, paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage up to 256GB expandable memory via microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Poco X3 NFC has a rear quad-camera setup, including a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with FOV 119-degree, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 20MP selfie camera up front.

The Poco X3 NFC packs a massive, 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

In terms of connectivity, the Poco X3 NFC has a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also has NFC, which is also included in the device name, which means it can be used for NFC payments.

The device will run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.

Price and Availability

Poco X3 NFC prices 229 Euros for the base variant (6GB RAM + 64GB storage), but will be available for 199 Euros as an early offer, and the top variant (128GB) will cost you 269 Euros but will be available at 249 Euros as an early offer.

There are two color options for the Poco X3 NFC: Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray.

The sale will start from tomorrow on Amazon, Mi.com, Banggood, AliExpress, and other retailers.
