Recently we have seen the leaked render of the Poco M3, and today the company has officially unveiled the entry-level smartphone globally. Poco M3 is the successor of the Poco M3 launched in India. The new entry-level smartphone resembles a similar design, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, rear 48MP cameras, a massive battery, and more.

Poco M3

As we mentioned earlier that the Poco M3 has a similar rear panel camera module like the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk Edition with the brand logo. Poco offers an anti-fingerprint textured back for better grip and in-hand feel.

The Poco M3 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display panel with a water-drop notch at the top center of the display, which includes an 8MP selfie shooter. The display has a 90.34% screen to body ratio with widevine L1 and TUV Rheinland low blue light certified. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which also works as a power button.

In terms of performance, the Poco M3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, instead of Helio G80. The processor is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is also an option for expandable memory up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD slot.

In terms of optics, which is the most highlighted feature of the phone includes a rear triple camera-setup including a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera features like the Pro mode, portrait mode, sky mode, and many filters are available.

The phone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and reverse wired charging via USB Type-C port at the bottom. Other features are Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 3.5mm headphone jack, and IR Blaster.

The Poco M3 runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Price and Availability

The Poco M3 has two variants, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage which prices $149 and $169 respectively in Europe. To opt discount of a flat $20 on both variants, you have to buy it on the Black Friday sale, and the normal sale will start from 27 November.

The Poco M3 will be available in three colors- Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow.

The Poco M3 might make its way to India but for now, there is no information on this.
