Last year Parrot introduced its 4K Anafi drone with the view to balancing a camera and lots of features with a price that wasn’t excessive. Now, the latest model is all about flying immersion. The new Anafi FPV is being sold with a headset to pilot the drone. However, for the headset display, it has a smartphone display slot where users will fit in their smartphones instead of having a dedicated screen like Google Cardboard.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
The Anafi FPV quadcopter features lots of in-depth controls for piloting and 4K HDR video and 21-megapixel images with a good battery life od 26 minutes. The new model with a weight of just 283 grams has two new flight presets: cinematic and racing. The best feature is the bird’s eye view display.
The users have to pair their smartphones with the Anafi FPV quadcopter with the help of an app FreeFlight 6.6 and place their smartphone in the included cockpit glasses and put headset and take flight. The 180-degree tilting camera — with 3-axis stabilization and 3X zoom — will provide the users an exhilarating view at speeds of approximately 31mph.
The FPV headset shows info like flight speed, altitude, direction, and drone location. The users even can see the drone in-air without removing the cockpit glasses; they just have to switch to See-Through View, and it will use the smartphone’s rear camera to show the live video.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”zxikm5d3e04a8f1451″]
The Anafi FPV is not just a toy; however, its immersive cockpit glasses are fun to play with. FPV drones are experiencing a boom right now. Recently DJI also introduced a First-Person Drone with FPV Goggles and low latency.
