OPPO reportedly just a few months after the launch of Reno 10X Zoom, Company is now ready with the Second generation Reno series named OPPO Reno 2. The company launched the first OPPO Reno series in China, but this time OPPO is planning to launch the Second generation Reno series in India first.

Recently there are several rumors about the Second generation Reno series, but OPPO India today officially introduces the OPPO Reno2 on twitter with a launch date to India first on 28 August this year. The Phone will launch in India first not in China the home market. However, the market will expand soon.

According to OPPO India post, The OPPO Reno 2 will have the rear quad camera setup. Whereas OPPO Reno 10X zoom has the rear triple camera setup, and the base model of OPPO Reno only has the rear dual camera setup.

The company further confirms 20X Zoom support on OPPO Reno 2. It does not provide information on how it will handle to get 20X zoom. However, we presume a hybrid zoom option. The teaser poster likewise recommends that the side-swing ‘shark-fin’ pop-up selfie camera system will drip down to the Oppo Reno 2. There may be multiple versions of the Oppo Reno 2 introduced on 28 August. However, the business hasn’t validated that as of yet.

According to the rumors, the Reno 2 is anticipated to include a Snapdragon 700 series processor with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen including 2400 x 1080 pixels. The quad-camera setup is most likely going to add a 48MP main cam with an 8MP wide-angle sensing unit, a 13MP telephoto lens along with a 2MP black and white sensing unit. The battery department needs to get an upgrade, with reports mentioning approximately 4065mAh capability one inside the new flagship.
