OPPO Find X2 10bit OLED display can produce 1 billion colors

The upcoming OPPO Find X2 may have one of the best displays in a smartphone in 2020, which is going to be announced on 6 March. Brian Shen, the OPPO Vice President and the official OPPO account on twitter, has revealed that the upcoming Find X2 screen is capable of displaying up to 1 billion colors.

Due to the 10bit display, the screen is able to produce 1 billion colors without any color color banding. The tweet shared includes a video that shows the difference between other 8bit display, and the Find X2’s 10bit display.

The company has already confirmed before that the OPPO Find X2 will have a 3K display with a 5000000:1 contrast ratio. The smartphone will have a curved screen but not as immersive as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

The screen likewise has a 120Hz refresh rate that can be triggered even when the display screen is at its highest resolution. Another feature of the screen is its 240Hz touch sampling rate, and it has actually been reported that there is a dedicated display chip that upscales SDR content to HDR.

Apart from these, the OPPO Find X2 will have Snapdragon 865 chipset, 48MP triple cameras, 32MP selfie camera, 65W fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.
