We have seen the OnePlus 8 Pro renders surfaced online a few weeks ago ahead of the official launch. Now the recent reports suggesting that the OnePlus 8 series will be officially announced in the second quarter of 2020.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
A Tipster suggests the report on twitter where he mentioned OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro scheduled for Q2 2020.
Previously we have seen that the company announced the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro in May this year. So, the company may also announce the OnePlus 8 series in the same month next year.
From the reports, we got the announce timeframe of the OnePlus 8 series. However, no information about the specifications was shared by the tipster.
As per the information surfaced online previously along with the renders, the OnePlus 8 will feature a 6.5-inch display with a dimension of 160.2 x 72.9 x 8.1mm, whereas, the 8 Pro will feature a slightly bigger 6.65-inch display with a dimension of 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.8mm.
Both the phones are expected to have an FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole and in-display fingerprint sensor. The company will use a 90Hz refresh rate display on both the phones. Back of the phones will have a triple-camera setup vertically aligned with an extra sensor, believed to be a 3D camera ToF(time of flight).
The OnePlus series will come with a pre-installed Android 10 OS based on OxygenOS 10. The series may come with 5G connectivity and could support wireless charging.
