OnePlus 8 series is expected to appear in the second quarter of 2020. The series will include a base and a Pro variant. We already have seen the renders and supposed live photos of the OnePlus 8 Pro. However, according to the leaks, it seems like the company is planning to target the mid-range smartphone segment market with an affordable device, named OnePlus 8 Lite.
OnePlus 8 Lite renders covers all the angles. The renders reveal a flat display with a punch-hole at the top center for the front camera. As per the sources the screen size will be 6.4 or 6.5-inches.
At the top left, the rear panel houses a rectangular bump setup, which includes two cameras aligned vertically with an LED flash and few unknown sensors as the camera specs are unknown right now.
The renders also show a volume rocker on the left side, an alert slider and a power button on the right side, and a Type-C port on the bottom. There is no presence of a headphone jack.
As per the OnePlus 8 Lite renders, the design seems similar to the Samsung Galaxy S11.
OnePlus 8 Lite renders
As per the sorces, the OnePlus 8 Lite measures around 159.2 x 74 x 8.6mm, and there will be a curved rear glass panel and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As the previous OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, which have the 90Hz refresh rate display and the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to feature a 120Hz display, it will be interesting to see whether the company manages to afford at least a 90Hz refresh rate to the OnePlus 8 Lite.
We expect more details to be surface online soon.
