Recently Microsoft published a Windows blog post about “What Windows 10, version 1909 Means for Developers.” The company confirmed that there would be no new Windows 10 SDK in conjunction with this version 1909. In brief, it is to make aware the developers that they no need to target Windows 10 version 1909 or modify their project files as there would be no update to SDK, and they should continue to focus version 1903.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
Windows 10 November 2019 Update will release through the cumulative update bringing the build number from 18362 to 18363 by getting an enablement package, and the rest would be version 1903. The build revision of 1903 and 1909 version will be the same, and both will be getting the same cumulative updates in the future. For this reason, there would be no SDK for this 1909 version.
Microsoft previously confirmed that build 18363.418 is the final build, which is not going to release till November. However, you can grab it by registering your PC in the Release Preview ring of the Windows Insider Program or by VS subscription. However, Microsoft didn’t mention when it is going to release the version, whether the first week or second Tuesday of November. Neowin first spotted this Windows blog.
