New Studio driver of NVIDIA’s RTX accelerates V-Ray rendering!

New Studio driver of NVIDIA's RTX accelerates V-Ray rendering.

People who are into editing or even have some insight in this line of the profession know, how hard it is to create a photorealistic 3D scene or image. Softwares like Autodesk 3DS Max, V Ray, etc. are used in creating these hyper-realistic scenes or images. It takes countless hours in creating and rendering, but now, NVIDIA has introduced its new studio drivers for the GeForce RTX or Quadro RTX card.

According to NVIDIA, this new update in drivers will accelerate the V-Ray GPU rendering by 40% which is pretty insane, and it will be convenient for the animators or content creators as the most tiresome part other than the creation is the rendering of the product so, with this process getting sped up by the new studio drivers there’s a good chance that it will increase the productivity of the people related to this field.

The rollout of this update will begin firstly for the V-Ray and then the Autodesk 3DS Max and lastly on Maya. These drivers will not only increase your rendering speed, but they will also accelerate the processing of your computer on various software like Unreal Engine, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.

As stated, these studio drivers will only work on computers that have NVIDIA’S RTX series on their computers. The features of these drivers also vary from the software you are using like if you are using the Autodesk 3DS Max with these new studio drivers you can choose the conventional CUDA Path (Compute Unified Device Architecture) or control the rendering and get 40% more acceleration as we have talked before. You may have to update your Autodesk and various apps to get the drivers up and running them without any issues or lags.
