Next year’s upcoming smartphone by Huawei will be the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro. The upcoming phone will be in the flagship category of the company. Previously leaked render of the Huawei P40 Pro reveals the rear camera arrangement. However, a new Huawei P40 Pro renders surfaced online, which shows both the rear and the front camera setup.
According to the sources, the Huawei P40 Pro is expected to be equipped with five rear cameras. The five cameras include a main wide-angle lens, a Cine lens, a ToF lens, a Periscope lens with 10X optical zoom, and a Telephoto lens with up to 9x optical zooming or an Ultra-wide angle lens.
The front camera setup is expected to have two cameras within a capsule-shaped layout at the top right of the display.
Moreover, the renders showcase the curved display around the edges with very much thin bezel.
Apart from the camera layouts, the Huawei P40 Pro is expected to feature a 6.5-6.7-inches QHD+ AMOLED display with a dual-punch for the front cameras. The company will use a 90Hz refresh rate display incorporated with an in-display fingerprint sensor and under-display speaker.
The Huawei P40 Pro is anticipated to be fueled by Kirin 990 5G processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone will run on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10, but if the US ban continues, the phone will not come with Google Mobile Services.
We are not confirmed about the launch date of the Huawei P40 series, but as per the sources, the Huawei P40 series may launch after the MWC 2020 in February. So we guess the phone will arrive in the Q1 of 2020.
