The Lenovo-backed giant Motorola has launched its another premium affordable 5G smartphone today. The company has launched its first Moto G series smartphone to feature 5G support with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G, 48MP camera, and more. The name of the smartphone is Moto G 5G Plus.
Moto G 5G Plus Specifications
First, let’s talk about design. The Moto G 5G Plus comes with a dual punch hole camera at the front with thick bezels. Meanwhile, the rear panel looks sharp and glossy with a quad-camera setup and the Motorola branding. Although it’s a plastic build, the smartphone resembles great. Also, there’s no fingerprint scanner on the rear this time as Motorola has placed the scanner on the side.
Second, let’s talk about the display. The Moto G 5G Plus comes with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ LCD with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. It also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate to provide you a much more smooth display experience. Moreover, the display comes with protection from the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Third, let’s talk about the camera. The Moto G 5G Plus comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 118-degree FOV and f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Meanwhile, the front features two dual cameras, including a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
Under the hood, the Moto G 5G Plus comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Along with 5G support, it also provides Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11ac, and NFC as wireless connectivity options. Also, the battery on this one is 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast-charging support.
Price and Availability
The Moto G 5G Plus is currently priced at 349 euros (29,499 Indian Rupees) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage base variant. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants are valued at 399 euros (33,699 Indian Rupees). It will be up for sale starting from July 8th. Although there is no word if it will arrive in India or not in the coming months, UAE and Saudi Arabia will soon get this smartphone.
