MediaTek Helio G70 for Budget gaming Smartphones!

In today’s day and age, smartphones keep getting stronger and stronger in performance. Even a mid-range chip in today’s market is capable enough for smooth UI experience with a bit of gaming also.

This kind of innovation is because of MediaTek and Qualcomm! These two companies have launched processors that are not only suitable for every budget but also capable. After the launch of MediaTek Helio G90 and G90T, the company MediaTek has announced its underclocked version also.

Talking about G90T, it made the Redmi Note 8 Pro the best gaming smartphone the sub Rs. 22,000/ segment! By this, only you can guess the price to performance ratio of this G series by MediaTek.

Now MediTek announces the Helio G70 processor. By the name only, you can guess that the chipset will be a little weak in comparison with the G90 series, but accordingly, the processor will be empowering the budget segment smartphones.

Taking a look at the configurations, the Helio G70 is powered by Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, and the other smaller cores are Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.7 GHz. Judging by the online reports, the Helio G70 has been rumored to be based on the same 12nm FINFET technology as the Helio G90T.

Furthermore, the Helio G70 is built on MediaTek’s HyperEngine technology, which ensures gaming enhancement, and it supports camera resolution up to 48 Megapixels and 1080p displays. Everything is looking neat on this processor for now, and after its real-world usage, we will get to know about the performance offered by this chipset in comparison to the Snapdragon 600 series and the 710 by Qualcomm.
