Xiaomi will launch its first notebook in India on 11 June. Now many of the rumors suggest that the company will launch the RedmiBook 13 on 11 June at 12 PM. On the other hand, Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP of Xiaomi, and Xiaomi India MD shared a post on twitter about this.
Manu Kumar Jain, in his post, only mentioned that it will be a Mi NoteBook device. In the post, Mr. Jain reveals the most highlighted feature of the upcoming Mi NoteBook, the screen to body ratio, which is going to be one of the highest that we have ever seen and compact as well.
The post includes a teaser video, which mainly focuses on the slim display bezels around called “Horizon Display.”
Another post by Mr. Jain suggesting that the upcoming Mi NoteBook laptop will be ultra-light but packs with lot of power.
Whether the Mi NoteBook launching in India would be RedmiBook 13 is still not clear, but soon we get to know as the official information surfaces online.
In terms of price, don’t compare the prices with Xiaomi smartphones in India. Raghu Reddy, Xiaomi India Chief Business officer, had stated recently that upcoming laptops from the company wouldn’t have affordable pricing like smartphones. Because the future laptops are aimed toward students, creators, and gamers and to fulfill that Xiaomi will not comprise.
As per the RedmiBook 13 laptop launched in China has two variants with up to 10-gen Core i7 CPU and Nvidia MX250 GPU. It has a 13.3-inches FHD+ display with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512 GB SSD storage. The Core i5 model priced at 4,199 Yuan (~$590) (Rs. 44,442 approx), and the Core i7 top variant has a price tag of 5,199 Yuan (~$731) (Rs. 55,039 approx).
