LG has today unveiled a massive 163-inch 4K display with micro-LED technology, named LG Magnit.
LG Magnit is the first micro-LED TV company to deliver “groundbreaking picture quality and durability.” It will soon be available in markets like the US, Europe, and a few others. For those unfamiliar, micro-LEDs are a new form of displays similar to OLED panels found in many TVs and smartphones but operate with much smaller pixels.
You can assume that the display is not for the living room or bedroom just by the size. The company aims this display specifically to the commercial sectors like- companies, hotels, museums, corporate lobbies, conference rooms, supermarkets, and more.
Coming to the TV, the LG Magnit comes with a Full Black Coating technology to deliver the deeper black color with enhancing vivid color, high 150000:1 contrast ratio with impressive minute picture details than the conventional LED signage. The display also supports HDR10, HDR10 Pro.
Moreover, the LED chip with the enhanced Gamut Transfer technology delivers the closest to the original color across the screen.
AI powered Alpha 7 Intelligent processor powers the LG Magnit for the optimized clarity and sharpness of the content.
The display has several coated film layers to protect its LED chips from water drops, dust, static electricity, or physical impacts.
The massive 163-inch LG Magnit runs on webOS software for the various in-device operations with an intuitive UI for interacting.
In terms of price and availability, the LG Magnit is out of reach for the general consumers. For the business or commercial use, fill the inquiry to buy form.
