LG launches K31 in the US, the budget smartphone with dual cameras

LG has launched a new budget segment smartphone in the US, under its K-series, called the LG K31.

The company equips this budget smartphone with decent features. So without wasting any time, let see what the smartphone has to offer us.

LG K31: Specs and Features

The K31 features a 5.7-inches FullVision HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520×720 pixels and a pixel density of 295ppi. The display includes a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.

In terms of the internals, the phone is powered by 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset, paired with up to 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.

At the back, the LG K31 has a dual-camera setup, including a 13MP primary sensor with an aperture of F/1.8, and a 5MP wide-angle-sensor with F/2.2 aperture and 120-degrees FOV. In the front, the phone has a 5MP selfie camera with an F/2.2 aperture. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back as well.

In terms of battery, the phone packs a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The company claims that the battery will offer up to 11 hours of talk time and 22 days of standby time.

Other feature includes a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side. The phone supports Single-SIM, LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack in terms of connectivity.

The phone will run on LG UX 9.1 based on Android 10 out of the box.

Price and Availablity

The LG K31 prices $150 in the US, and is currently available only on LG’s website. The company didn’t mention the global launch yet.
