It doesn’t make loud sounds if you type fast on it. You can type for as long as you want without worrying about your fingers tiring.

Second, let’s talk about the display of this gaming laptop. The Legion Y540 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The resolution of the display is 1920 X 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It comes with a matte-finish display with great color reproduction. It provides a much more saturated and blazing display, which is great for reducing glare.

Third, let’s talk about the performance of this gaming laptop. The Legion Y540 comes with a 9th-gen Intel Core i7-9750H CPU coupled with 16GB RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The Core I7-9750H processor comes with a base speed of 2.6GHz and a maximum speed of 4.5GHz. Other than that, it features six cores and 12 threads with 12 MB Intel Smart Cache. As for the graphics, it comes with an Nvidia’s RTX 2060 GPU with 6GB of VRAM, which will run any game you want.

Fourth, let’s talk about the battery and connectivity features of this gaming laptop. The Legion Y540 comes with a 57Wh battery, which is capable of handling your daily needs. According to Lenovo, you can have up to 5 hours of battery life on this laptop, but if you do intensive tasks or gaming, it can last up to 3 or 3.5 hours.

As for the ports, this gaming laptop features a 2x USB 3.1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, an HDMI port, a Mini DisplayPort, an RJ-45 ethernet port, and a headphone/mic duo port. Also, the audio quality on this one is tuned by HARMAN and provides an average sound quality. The sound is not that much loud, which is a disappointment.
