At the Consumer Electronics Show, Lenovo launched the Legion Y740S gaming laptop that is pretty amazing in terms of its dimensions and heft. The Y740S has a thickness of a mere 14.9mm and 4.18 pounds of weight which is pretty amazing in terms of Gaming laptop standards.

Talking about configurations, Lenovo Legion Y740S is powered by the 10th-generation Intel H-series processors and this series includes processors up to a Core-i9. Now about the GPU, Lenovo Y740S does not have a dedicated graphics card. Instead, you have to use eGPU from the all-new BoostStation.

Taking a look at the display, the Legion Y740S flaunts a 15.6-inches of the screen with brightness up to 600-nits. The screen also has support for 100% sRGB color gamut and up to 4K resolution.

This latest gaming laptop by Lenovo also has support for biometric security as it has a fingerprint scanner on the power button of the laptop. Other than that, it also has support for an SD card reader, two Type-A ports of USB 3.1 and Two Thunderbolt 3 ports in which one of them can be used for connecting your external graphics card.

The BoostStation by Lenovo that is rumored to be having bundles of graphics card like RTX 2060 Super 8GB, RTX 2070 Super 8GB, RTX 2080 Super 8GB, Nvidia Geforce 1660ti, and AMD Radeon RX5700T. The Lenovo Y740S will get launched in the month of May with a price tag of $1,099.99 and the BoostStation is priced at around $249.99.

Lenovo’s Upcoming Gaming Peripherals

Apart from gaming laptops and external graphics card accessories, Lenovo also announced a ton of Gaming peripherals like Monitors and mouse. Talking about Monitors, Lenovo announced three monitors named G32qc, G27c, and Legion Y25-25.

The G32qc gaming monitor sports a 31.5-inch display which supports 144Hz of refresh rate and Quad HD resolution and will be launched in March for $319.99.

The G27c gaming monitor supports 165 Hz refresh rate and resolution up to 1080p and will be launched in March with the G32q for $219.99.

The Legion Y25-25 is will have a 24.5-inch full HD screen with brightness up to 400-nits and 240 Hz of refresh rate and will be launched in June for $319.99.

Going towards the gaming mouse and keyboard department, Lenovo has announced two gaming mouse including the Legion M600 Wireless and Legion M300 RGB gaming mouse.

The Legion M600 will be a wireless gaming mouse having 16,000DPI and a switch for adjusting the DPI according to your liking. The battery life is excellent on this mouse as it gives 200 hours of use on a single charge and a 5-minute charge will give you 10 hours of battery life. The M600 wireless mouse is expected will be released in June for $79.99.

Talking about the Legion M300 RGB gaming mouse, it is equipped with RGB on its rear side and has a DPI of 7,000 and it will be released in June for $29.99.

For the keyboard, the company has unveiled Legion K300 RGB Gaming Keyboard which is an entry-level keyboard equipped with five RGB lighting zones and it will be released in June for $49.99.
