Lenovo has finally announced its latest Yoga 9 flagship laptops with next-generation hardware today. These two laptops from Lenovo are called Yoga 9i and Yoga Slim 9i, and they are successors to the earlier launched Yoga C940 and Yoga S940 laptops. So, without further ado, let’s talk about the specifications of these two laptops.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i comes in two variants, which are 14- and 15.6-inch, while the Yoga Slim 9i laptop only comes in a single 14-inch variant. The 14-inch variants of Yoga 9i and Yoga Slim 9i come with a black leather cover secured with an aerospace-grade, aluminum chassis, which gives it a premium look. You also get a fingerprint-resistant Smart Sensor touchpad for a clickable area, an edge-to-edge Glass Palm rest, and an Ultrasonic Fingerprint reader.
As for the display, the Yoga 9i comes with a 15.6-inch 4K IPS VESA DisplayHDR 400 or 3D Curved-Edge display options (14- and 15.6-inch). While the Yoga Slim 9i comes with a 14-inch 4K touchscreen IPS display with VESA DisplayHDR 400 and 90 percent DCI-P3 color spectrum.
Under the hood, the 14-inch Yoga 9i and Yoga Slim 9i comes with Intel’s 11th-gen TigerLake processors (coming soon) coupled with a new Thunderbolt 4 connection standard. Meanwhile, the 15-inch variant comes with Intel’s 10th-gen processors up to the Core i9 HK series coupled with up to Nvidia’s GTX 1650 Ti with Max-Q design.
Apart from that, all these premium laptops come equipped with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision screens. Also, similar to its predecessor C940, the two models from Yoga 9i have a rotating speaker built into their hinge, which provides premium quality sound. You also get garaged stylus on both laptops that charge inside the PC when no one is using it.
As for the pricing, the Yoga 9i model starts at $1,399 (metal version), $1,699 (leather version), while the 15-inch laptop starts at $1,799 and will be available in October. Meanwhile, the Yoga Slim 9i begins at $1,599 and will arrive in November.
