Recently on Snapdragon Annual tech Submit held on Hawaii, Qualcomm announced its next-gen Snapdragon 865 5G chipset along with the Snapdragon 765 5G and 765G 5G mid-range segment chipsets. Among the new chipsets, Snapdragon 765G will feature Redmi K30 this year, and the others are expected to debut until next year. Right now, Qualcomm processors are in the trending topic at the end of this year. However, according to leaks, the rival company Huawei is also rumored to launch its next-gen chipsets soon.
According to a leak by a leakster on Twitter, Huawei is going to launch two new 5G chipsets- Kirin 1020, which will be going to be a flagship processor and Kirin 820 to replace the current mid-range Kirin 810.
Again the same leakster shared another leak on Twitter but this with more details. In the leaked post, he compares the Kirin 1020 with the current Kirin 990 5G processor, where he mentions that the Kirin 1020 will be produced on a 5nm processor with integrated ARM Cortex-A77 CPU architecture and it will boost 50-percent performance increase than the Kirin 990.
The leakster also mentioned that the Mate 40 series will be the first to equipped with the Kirin 1020 flagship processor, and the P40 series will have the Kirin 990 5G from next year.
On the other hand, the Kirin 820 with build 5G modem may debut with Nova 7 or honor 10X.
