Launch date delayed?
As per the company history, iPhone 11 lineup launched on 10 September last year, so we may assume that the iPhone 12 would follow the same in 2020. If the company stays on track, the phone may launch in the second week of September, which is 8 September.
Moreover, with the ongoing Conronavirus pandemic, multiple reports suggested the delay of the iPhone 12. Recently, The Wall Street Journal says that mass production delayed by a month. So, the devices may hit the market in October or later.
Recently, Jon Processer, the tech analyst, also shared info about the iPhone 12 supply chain, which is improving, but will be delayed.
As per Jon Prosser, the 5.4′ inches iPhone 12 will cost around $649 and the 6.1′ inches model at $749, whereas, the Pro model will cost $999 for the 6.1′ inches model and $1,099 for the 6.7′ inches model.
We don’t know how correct are these values, but if we compare, the iPhone 11 starts at $699, and the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max cost $999 and $1,099.
An Apple analyst, Ming Chi Kuo, “Apple will not significantly increase the price of 5G iPhones compared to this year’s lineup.” As per his estimation, there will be an increase of $30 to $100 depending on the versions.
