Previously we have seen leaks about the upcoming iPad Air 4, in which the apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned about a 10.8-inch iPad Air 4 for this year. However, a new leak now suggests that the forthcoming iPad Air will resemble the iPad Pro series like design with a thinner bezel, Touch ID power button, and USB-C.
DuanRui on Twitter shared the leak images of the upcoming iPad Air 4 alleged instruction pamphlet.
As per the images, the iPad Air 4 will have an overall redesign like the iPad Pro and will use USB-C in place of lightning.
The alleged leaked pamphlet also mentioned that the iPad Air 4 will use Touch ID instead of Face ID, incorporated in the power button.
It is advisable to digest the news with a pinch of salt as there is no concrete evidence to check the authenticity of the images. However, the redesigning of the iPad Air 4 could be a good thing for Apple. The iPad Air, after all, sits between the iPad and the iPad Pro, but at first glance, it doesn’t look all that different. The iPad Air could make some potential iPad buyers want to spend the extra cash with a design upgrade, and a more attractive USB-C port.
As per the source, Eurasian regulatory commission filings that Apple soon prepares new iPads for a hardware refresh. However, regulatory filings shed no light on the product design. We will keep you updated on this, so stay tuned with us for more updates.
