Intel unveils its new NUC 9 Extreme Kit and Compute Element

-

At CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Intel has shown its attempt to revolutionize small PCs by announcing NUC 9 Extreme Kit, and it’s Compute Element for modular builds. The new kits code-named “Ghost Canyon” and Compute Elements will be powered by Intel 9th Generation Coffee Lake-H CPUs.

The NUC 9 Extreme Kit is for both gamers or content creators as it is the first NUC to support 8-inch PCIe discrete graphics. However, consumers have to include their own RAM, storage, and OS. For connectivity, it comes with Intel Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI 2.0, and two Gigabit LAN ports. To power the NUC, it has a 500-Watt power supply.
