Recently, the upcoming Huawei P40 and P40 Pro renders are released and surfaced on the internet. It looks like Huawei’s flagships will come early as compared to other rivals in the market, and the reason for this is that the P40 and P40 Pro will come up with the same processor the Huawei Mate lineup has to offer.
The release time will play a significant role in increasing the sales for the device as the P40 series is not bounded by the release of a new processor like Mediatek’s Dimensity 1000 or Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 865 chipset.
People who are looking for the latest flagship in the market and are in a hurry, the P40, and P40 Pro will be the most suitable flagships for them, which are currently available in the market.
In Huawei P40 and P40 Pro renders by Onleaks, you will see that both of these devices have a similar rear side on which they are flaunting a rectangular camera setup.
The Huawei P40, which is the standard version, features a vibrant Flat AMOLED Panel of around 6.1-inches. For the front camera placement, we are not so sure whether it will be a hole-punch in the display or a mechanized pop-up selfie camera. Considering this as an AMOLED screen, the best bet will be a hole-punch in the display.
Talking about the build quality of the device, the P40 series by Huawei will be made of premium glass-body on the back and supposedly metal frame on the sides. It will have support for USB Type-C at the bottom, SIM Tray at the left, and a speaker grill on the right.
Talking about the software, the P40 will be running the Android version 10 with an EMUI Skin on top of it, and for the security, it will be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor as this is an AMOLED display.
At the backside of the phone, the standard P40 features a rectangular camera setup, much like the upcoming Samsung Flagship i.e., the Galaxy S11. Going by the design, it is possible that it will have a tetra-camera setup, which means four cameras on the back. There is a significant camera bump considering it has more cameras than the Huawei P30.
Huawei P40 Pro
Coming to the Pro version, it will also have a beautiful AMOLED Panel, but the screen size will be a bit larger than the standard one, and it will be a curved screen as compared to the flat on the standard one. It will be featuring a close to 6.5-inches of the display. The screen on the P40 Pro will be supporting Quad HD+ resolution and a blazing fast 120 Hz of refresh rate.
About the build quality, there are not many differences between the regular and the Pro version. They both have a glass-body with the metal frames, but the P40 Pro will be covering almost 98% of the device with its screen, and for security, it will be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor as this is an AMOLED display.
There will be a hole-punch or a pop-up camera functionality for the selfie shooter on the front and talking about the rear, the Huawei P40 Pro will have the same rectangular camera setup but with a few more sensors than the standard model as it is a slightly expensive version and it will also have a slightly higher camera configuration than the standard P40.
The P40 Pro will have a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a 12 Megapixel for telephoto with a periscopic lens combined, a 20MP ultrawide angle camera, a TOF 3D sensor and at last a Macro sensor for close-up shots. The P40 Pro will have a very noticeable camera bump that can cause significant table-wobble when you are using it at a flat surface, but considering the specs of the camera, you can’t complain.
About the hardware configuration, it is the same as the standard P40 i.e. it has a Type-C USB connector at the bottom, SIM Tray at the left, and a speaker grill at the bottom right of the phone and talking about the software, the P40 Pro will be running the Android version 10 with an EMUI Skin on top of it.
