This news is for the people who have been eyeing the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite tablet but were skeptical about its low RAM and storage capacity. For those who are unaware currently, the Huawei tablet offers only 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is not enough if we go by 2020 standards and that is why we are happy to tell you that the MediaPad M5 Lite is about to come in a new storage variant that will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Giving at least 4 gigs of RAM for the tablet was vital for Huawei as already because of some limitations in CPU processing power, and memory used by the operating system and pre-installed applications, the actual space available to users will be less than the nominal memory capacity. On top of that, if you are only providing your users with measly 3 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage, this will be the most limiting factor for your device.
Now with this new MediaPad M5 Lite variant, you can multitask and carry your normal work with ease, and this enhancement in performance and storage will cost you a premium of Rs. 2,000/ over the previous one. Well, sad to say, this has been the only change done by Huawei in this variant.
Talking about the specs, you still get the same Kirin 659 SoC running on EMUI 8.0 on top of Android version 8.0 (Oreo), the same 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, and 7,500 mAh battery with quad stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon.
