Huawei Mate X, Huawei’s foldable smartphone is not likely to come before November. It suggests there is a delay once again. TechRadar found out this at a press event at Shenzhen Headquarters, China on August 15. The reason for the delay is unknown.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
Back in February Huawei was displaying Mate X at Mobile World Congress. However, the smartphone launch date has been pushed back since then.
It implies that Samsung might still be able to get its much-attention Galaxy Fold to its customers. After getting an embarrassing false start, Samsung set the Galaxy Fold’s new launch date for September.
According to TechRadar’s report, Huawei is positive about the fact that they’ll get the Mate X out by the end of 2019. The phone’s successor might come out next year with “even more screens,” meaning screens on the back of the phone, too.
In the meantime, we have to wait till one of these foldable phones is out in stores and we can shell over countless dollars while at the same time, hoping we do not break them.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”zxikm5d3e04a8f1451″]
