HP’s revamped Omen 15 comes with features from both Intel and AMD

-

As we know, HP is rejuvenating most of its gaming laptops and other products these days. This time, the HP Omen 15 gaming laptop from HP has been shaped into a smaller size with an IR thermopile sensor to maximize thermal efficiency. Not only that, but this gaming laptop also comes with either a Ryzen 4000 H series or Intel Comet Lake H series processor, providing you to choose your favorite CPU. So, let’s discuss the specifications of this revamped HP Omen 15 gaming laptop.

First, let’s talk about design. The new HP Omen 15 now comes with a 22.5mm taller and 11% thinner design in comparison to its predecessors. It also features a decent blue diamond logo that we often notice on an HP Omen desktop. Also, at the bottom, you can see a stark contrast from the old VoodooPC emblem, which is seen in earlier models.

Second, let’s talk about the display. The new HP Omen 15 comes with a 15.6-inch screen backed by a 180-degree hinge. Also, you can choose between an OLED panel, a UHD panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, or an FHD panel with a refresh rate of up to 300Hz.

Lastly, let’s talk about the internals, the new HP Omen 15 comes with an Intel Core i7 Hseries or AMD Ryzen 7 H-series processor coupled with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD or dual PCIe SSD with support for RAID 0. In terms of graphics, you can set up this with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super with Max-Q design. Also, this is the first Omen series laptop to feature an AMD variant.

The new HP Omen 15 gaming laptop comes in two color options; the AMD system comes in silver, and the Intel system comes in Black. You can purchase this gaming laptop starting today at the price of $999.99 (75,075.60 Indian Rupee). The Intel models can be bought from HP.com, and Best Buy and the AMD model can be found here.
